Fotografen und Fotovereine aus aller Welt sind eingeladen, am 1. Internationalen Merchweiler Photosalon teilzunehmen, der unter dem Patronat der FIAP und dem DVF steht und nach deren Richtlinien ausgerichtet wird. Ausgeschrieben sind zwei Sparten,  jeweils für monochrome und/oder Farb-Papierbilder, Thema: frei und Thema: Arbeitswelten. Jeder Autor darf maximal 4 Bilder pro Sparte einsenden.

Die Jury, für das freie Thema bestehend aus: Klaus-Peter Selzer (D), Yves Bassi (L) und Jean Marc Rohmer (F), für das Thema Arbeitswelten aus Klaus Persch (D), Jean-Jacques Lucas (L) und Dietmar Bührer (D), wird am 17.09. die eingesandten Bilder begutachten und sich für die besten Bilder entscheiden. Die Sieger erwarten wertvolle Geldpreise, Medaillen und Urkunden.

Die Siegerbilder und eine Auswahl der eingesandten Fotografien werden in einer großen Ausstellung zusammengefasst und vom 21.01. bis 12.02.2011 im Großen Kuppelsaal des Rathauses Wemmetsweiler ausgestellt.

Photographers and photographic associations from all over the world are invited to participate in the first international photo salon ("1. Internationaler Merchweiler Fotosalon") under the patronage of FIAP and DVF, which will take place in accordance with their terms of reference. Two sections are available for monochrome or color prints: Free subjects and world of work. The number of prints is limited to 4 per author and section.

The jury consists of Klaus-Peter Selzer (D), Yves Bassi (L) and Jean Marc Rohmer (F) for the free subjects and of Klaus Persch (D), Jean-Jacques Lucas (L) and Dietmar Bührer (D) for the subject world of work. On September 17, 2010, the jury will examine the photographies and choose the best prints of each section. Prize money, medals and certificates are waiting for the participants of this challenge.

The winning photographies and a selection of the posted prints will be shown in an exhibition which will take place from January 21 to February 12, 2011 in the cupola hall of the town hall of Wemmetsweiler ("Großer Kuppelsaal des Rathauses Wemmetsweiler").

Photographes et associations photographiques du monde entier sont invités de participer au 1er salon de photographie internationale à Merchweiler, qui aura lieu sous de patronat de la FIAP et du DVF et qui est organisé selon leurs règlements. Deux sections sont admises : photos couleur et/ou monochromes sur papier – sujet libre et photos couleur sur papier – sujet : Le monde du travail. Le nombre des épreuves est limité à 4 par auteur et par section.

Le jury est composé de Klaus-Peter Selzer (D), Yves Bassi (L) et Jean Marc Rohmer (F) en ce qui concerne le sujet libre et de Klaus Persch (D), Jean-Jacques Lucas (L) et Dietmar Bührer (D) en ce qui concerne le just "Le monde du travail". La décision sur les meilleurs œuvres sera prise le 17 septembre 2010. Des prix en espèces, des médailles d'or, d'argent et de bronze ainsi que des mentions honorifiques récompenseront les futurs gagnants.

Les œuvres les plus méritoires ainsi qu'une sélection des photographies participants seront montrés dans une grande exposition du 21 janvier au 12 février 2010 dans la grande salle à coupole dans la mairie de Wemmetsweiler ("Großer Kuppelsaal des Rathauses Wemmetsweiler").
